The Power of God's Love

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent his Son not into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved,” [John 3:16-17].

God’s love for you and I was demonstrated in the life of  Jesus. His love was manifested in the death of his Son. Jesus died that we may live. Our sins have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. It is because of God’s sacrifice and his ultimate love that I seek to live my life reflective of him. God continually shows his love for us. His word says that “He will never leave us nor forsake us and that we can cast our cares upon Him because he cares for us.” God's love is much deeper that you and I will ever realize. The depth and width of God’s love is without bounds and is beyond the comprehension of God. I may not understand the depth and width of God’s love, but what I know and understand is that he loves me. It is because of his love that I will live my life for him forever.

Who Is Spiritedsista?

Spiritedsista was birthed from an insatiable desire and hunger to love God. It represents an organism that seeks to find the heavenly place in an earthly dwelling. Trapped in a place that symbolizes evil and produces sin, Spiritedsista searches for the God of the universe. Confined by the embodiment of man’s limitations, Spiritedsista gravitates toward the heavenly father that resides within her. Realizing that she was created in the image and likeness of God, she seeks to find her true identity. Spiritedsista, as the name indicates, is the holy spirit of a sista that permeates her being and existence. Without the Spirit, sista would cease to be. I am the Spirit and the Spirit is me.

I am a female who was taught about God as a child. My mother taught my siblings and me to love and fear God. We regularly attended Sunday school and participated in church activities.  As I grew older, I began to love God. Realizing that my life was not my possession, but a representation of God, my life sought a different direction. I was purchased by the blood of Jesus. As such, I deeply desired to live my life from that perspective. The blood that was shed for me propels my life. The Spirit of the living God is who I am.
